Customer Bill of Rights
Greenboro Homes is dedicated to building homes and relationships for life. As part of that commitment, Greenboro has adopted a "Customer Bill of Rights" to clearly explain what you can count on in your relationship with Greenboro Homes
1. THE RIGHT TO FAIR AND HONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES
Greenboro will always honour any written agreement. If work called for on a contract is omitted, Greenboro will retrofit the correction or pay fair market value for the omitted item. If an error is discovered in the mathematical calculations on our contract and it is to the customer's detriment, the correction in your favour will be made.
2. THE RIGHT TO AN UNDERSTANDABLE BUYING, BUILDING, AND WARRANTY PROCESS
Greenboro Homes will outline for you upon purchase what steps you and Greenboro must take for the buying and building process to move forward in a timely manner. During the building process, Greenboro Homes will update you weekly on the progress of construction and any concerns or need for decisions on your part. At the Pre-Possession Orientation, the Warranty Service Process will be reviewed, and after possession Greenboro’s Warranty Service Team will make regularly scheduled points of contact with you to assure the Greenboro Homes Limited Warranty is properly administered for you.
3. THE RIGHT TO EXPECT QUALITY IN PRODUCT AND SERVICE
Greenboro Homes will build your home by always doing what is right for the home. If disputes arise, we will always defer to doing what is right for the home and never let personalities influence that judgment. The Greenboro Homes Limited Warranty will establish the measure of tolerance. Greenboro will provide Professional Grade Service to you in the Sales, Construction, and Warranty process. Greenboro will follow up with you on any recognized issue until you are able to confirm its completion.
4. THE RIGHT TO BE TREATED AS A PERSON
In these hectic times when customers tend to be turned into numbers rather than individuals, it is easy for you to be lost in the daily routine of doing business. We at Greenboro Homes will build our relationship with you, the person, by always asking ourselves how we as individuals would want to be treated in the same situation and then act accordingly. THE RIGHT TO BE HEARD Greenboro Homes will respectfully listen to any suggestions you make and analyze that input to its benefit in our constant commitment to improve our products and services.
5. THE RIGHT TO PERSONAL ENJOYMENT OF YOUR PROPERTY
After you take possession of your home, Greenboro will take steps to ensure a minimal level of disturbance to your enjoyment of your property. This may include oversight of surrounding Greenboro construction activities with your home in mind, attempting to have all work complete on your home prior to possession (weather permitting), and scheduling post possession work on your home on work days that allow as many items to be completed at one appointment as is possible.
6. THE RIGHT TO BE SAFE
Greenboro Homes will respect your need for safety by limiting access to the construction site to pre-planned accompanied visits. Greenboro will eliminate as timely as possible any situation that might create danger to you in your occupied home.
7. THE RIGHT TO PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
Greenboro Homes will keep the sensitive information you must provide in order to make a purchase confidential. We will respect your need for privacy in your home after possession.
